Good morning/evening/night!
I am going to show you my May monthly setup because it was the first month of my current bujo and I want to show you the entire content of my bujo. Oh and if you're interested to see my last bujo just go ahead on my Instagram to see it. I will however post flipthrough videos of it anytime soon. So keep an eye open for that.
In May I decided to go with a book theme. "Looking from Alaska" was the first book of John Green and it is my absolute favourite of all books I have read from him and also one of my all time favourites. I kept it quite scrapbook-ish and my lead colour was yellow.

| Spread 1: Cover page |
I always start my monthly setup with a cover page and a quote. I think it just shows where a new month begins. I did one of my favourite quotes in which Miles, the central character, describes himself and Alaska, the girl he likes. I liked how I layed it out and I definitely matched my cover page to the quote.

| Spread 2: monthly calendar |
Next is my monthly calendar which is the most important spread to set up because else I would forget my appointments all the time. It is simple, has a quote on it (I just had to put as many quotations in the spreads as I could) and very bloomy, because the daisy is the sign for which the book is known for.
 |
| Spread 3: Exam overview |
In May I had a lot of my final exams and so I made an overview of all the content I had to revise. I found this drawing of the outline of a girl on Pinterest and really liked it. Together with the quote it matched quite good. And since I had a lot of space left I decided to use some parchment paper and copy almost a full page of the book. Only so that you understand why I used that many quotes: John Green used lots of metaphors in his book and there are many quotes of famous people too because Miles likes them. So that's why.

| Spread 4: memories and habit tracker |
Then I also did a memories page (which I still haven't filled out yet) and only a few habit tracker. A habit tracker is used to start certain habits (just like the name says), so if you wanna try to read every day or eat less meat you can try to encourage yourself by tracking these things. For me it is highly fulfilling to see a tracker all filled out and thereby it motivates me to actually do these things. I ended up using some parchment paper and some gold washi tape to decorate the page along with the huge labyrinth in the middle.

| Weekly 1: April 29 - May 05 |
This was my first weekly and I chose to do a vertical layout. I also added a little tracker for my mood, my stress level and to write down something I did for myself as selfcare. I did that because these were the days of my exams and I wanted to see how that affected my health. I also did a cutout because I thought it would be fun to have mathing weeklies.
 |
| Weekly 2: May 06 - 12 |
For the second week I did little boxes for every day. I also added the same tracker as in the previous spread and I added a big box for tasks. The rest was filled up with decorations a another quote (who would've thought?).
 |
| Weekly 3: May 13 - 19 |
In the third week I did a little mood tracker and a quote together with this more horizontal layout. But I have to say that I wasn't that happy with my weekly.
 |
| Weekly 4: May 20 - 26 |
I really enjoyed the parchment paper look and decided to add it into this weekly for the quote. I also liked the look of the overlapping boxes for the days.
 |
| Quote page |
Sometimes I don't have the time to set up a weekly or I just don't need it and this was the case of the last week of May. So instead I just did this quote page because I bought this cool yellow washi tape with the eyes.
That was it for my whole May setup. Usually I would separate my weeklies from my setup but this way you can see it all in one post.
I hoped you enjoyed it and we will see each other soon!
Izzy
