Welcome to everyone who's new to my blog and those who already knew my German version!

 Before I actually started to post content here I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself and this blog. My name is Izzy and this is my blog (obviously). I started a few blogs but was never really happy to limit myself to only create one certain type of content. Then I just ended up creating a blog where I would post anything that comes to my mind. This Blog is in German and anyone who wants to see it (and who can indeed speak German) is very welcome to do so. The link is in the sidebar where all my other social media accounts are listed too.

 About a year ago I started doing Bullet journaling and posting many pictures of my spreads on my Instagram and so I decided that I wanted to do a English version of my blog for anyone from Instagram and elsewhere who wants to join me and my thoughts. The content will be quite similar to my German one but there will be things that I will only share there or here.

 I like arts, photography, reading and a lot of other things and I will post a lot of this here. You are always welcome to comment anything on any post of my blog (comment section is open to anyone) or on my Instagram. I would really love to know more about you guys!

 So I think that's it for the moment. I am really excited to share things with you guys and I think I might actually just go ahead and create the first content so that you can have something to read here.

Welcome welcome! Since we are all spending time at home, we might as well cook some nice food, don't we? This is my all-time favourite lasagna recipe. It has been on my German blog for a while and I have now taken the time to translate it. My mum and I created this recipe by trying out different lasagnas and combining all the things we liked about them. Book review: We were liars - E. Lockhart

Happy new year everyone! It's been a while since I last posted something here and I'm sorry for that but I wasn't really in the mood to write anything. However, the new year gave me loads of motivation to regularly post something (but I can't and won't promise it, we will see). I hope you had a great start into the new year and are full of joy for this new decade. One of my resolutions for this year is to read more and especially more on a regular basis (instead of using my phone or watching Netflix & co.). That is kind of the reason why I am starting this year with a book recommendation for you. The book I want to introduce you is called "We were liars" and was written in 2014 by the author E. Lockhart. It is an award-winning young adult novel and many critics consider it as a classic for teenagers to read. Homemade Granola

 Welcome to my baking lesson everybody! Today I will show you how to make your very own granola. For those of you who don't know what that is: granola is a caramelized, very crispy cereal. I make it once in a while as a present or as a special treat for myself (since it isn't super healthy). Another great reason to try to make your own is that you get to decide what ingredients it will have (and if that's important to you also the quality and origin of the ingredients). So let's start, shall we? This is the basic recipe (the specific ingredients for this one I will share later on): 300g multigrain flakes 200g nuts, kernels or seeds 100g extras of your choice (e.g. coconut chips or cornflakes) 60g olive oil 150g honey, maple syrup or agave syrup 1 pinch salt spices (e.g. cinnamon, vanilla, etc.) optional: 300g dried fruits, chocolate drops, etc. Instruction: Chop the nuts, kernels and seeds into eatable pieces.
